Our Program
Our academics program is based on “old-school” values and getting back to the basics. This means intertwining life skills throughout both our academics and athletic programs. These life skills will allow your child to succeed in a variety of different settings and situations. Depending on the grade level, we will focus on basic life skills such as:
- Organization
- Communication
- Study skills
- Test-taking skills
- Money management
- Self-regulation
We cater to the ‘active learner,’ someone who is task driven and motivated by movement. Our program will provide lots of opportunities to move, not only in the classroom, but also on the field, rink, or court. Hands-on activities, games, experiments, and interactive lessons will be staples in the EDGES classrooms. We will provide many opportunities for enrichment and remediation, to support a variety of learners.
